MADISON, Wis. - The Eagles used a 14-2 run midway through the first half to break an 11-11 tie and eventually cruise to an 85-76 win over the College of New Jersey in the consolation championship of the 2009 Woodrow S.W. Sponaugle New Year’s Tournament held at the Mayser Center on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.

NASSAU, Bahamas – If the warm sun and sandy beaches of the Bahamas are having any effect on the Edgewood College women’s basketball team, then Head Coach Tola Neils might lobby to play all her games there. The Eagles started out 2009 with a 77-33 rout of Gordon College (Mass.) in the opening game of the Great Bahamas Goombay Shootout.
01.02 | Men's Basketball
MADISON, Wis. – Susquehanna University nipped Edgewood College 75-69 in a non-conference meeting and first between both schools on Friday night at the Mayser Center on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College. The Crusaders never trailed en route to advancing to the Sponaugle New Year’s Tournament Championship game Saturday night.
